The Cafe

An ode to 1920’s aesthetics, seasonal savouring, and sustainability. Π55 café reflects the timelessness of what it means to “get together” and the efficiency of using technology wisely.

More than just a place to grab a quick bite. This is a hub for networking and collaboration, where members can connect with like-minded individuals and exchange ideas. It’s a place to work, brainstorm, socialise, or just relax with a cup of excellent coffee or a glass of exquisite wine.

The menu is dictated by seasonality and sustainability and is defined by simplicity and high quality. From morning yogurts and tarts to evening cheese plateaus, the café shines a spotlight on local farmers and their fresh produce. Share an after-work glass of Italian, South African or Greek wine, or morning coffee and brunch and switch from work mode to the city’s vibrant vibes.

Coffee

A toast to memories, a roast to remember
Enjoy a cup of exquisite coffee

Coffee tastes different at the Π55 café. Perfect coffee beans and the original handmade and hand-operated La Reggia espresso machine explain it all. The lost art of hand-crafted Italian coffee still lives in this La Reggia espresso machine. Lever pressure and you get the perfect espresso.

Read our manifesto

Π55 café is devoted to carrying out practical measures at every stage, to lessen the environmental impact, while also enhancing the quality of the products and the overall experience for customers, as well as for the community of co-workers, producers, and suppliers. With a focus on environmental and social responsibility, Π55 café has developed a sustainability manifesto. To ensure ethical and sustainable practices are in place and to establish meaningful goals for the future, a code of conduct and responsible product criteria are implemented.

Four main pillars form the foundation
for the Π55 café manifesto

  • Small farms and organic produce
  • Using recyclable consumables
  • Near market production
  • Reducing food waste
